Why I belong to the FUPCI

F

UNDAMENTAL DOCTRINE

FUNDAMENTAL DOCTRINE

We agree together to base our beliefs and doctrine on Biblical truths as established by our Lord Jesus Christ and taught by his Apostles.

U

NITED FORCE FOR EVANGELISM

UNITED FORCE FOR EVANGELISM

By combining our spiritual energies and financial resources with thousands of other churches, we are able to multiply our efforts in reaching the lost, send and support missionaries, and more effectively fulfill the Great Commission.

P

ROTECTION OF DOCTRINAL BALANCE

PROTECTION OF DOCTRINAL BALANCE

As part of a large fellowship, our ministers are exposed to different opinions and ideas in “non-essential” areas, while being held accountable in areas of fundamental doctrine, bringing a healthy balance to each pastor and local church.

C

OOPERATION WITHOUT CONTROL

COOPERATION WITHOUT CONTROL

Because we are part of a fellowship of churches instead of a more formal, centralized denomination, each local church remains autonomous. Each congregation chooses its own pastor, holds title to its own buildings, and determines the programs it wishes to participate in, yet has full access to the resources and ministries of a large international organization.

I

DENTITY WITH OTHER BELIEVERS

IDENTITY WITH OTHER BELIEVERS

Most importantly, belonging to the FUPCI allows each minister and church member to identify with other believers of like faith around the world who are known for their commitment to Christ and His Word, the New Testament salvation experience and an authentic Christian lifestyle.
